Holy Rood Catholic Church is set in the centre of Barnsley  in South Yorkshire and is within the Diocese of Hallam. Holy Rood, which means “Holy Cross”, was opened in 1905 and is one of the most beautiful buildings not only in Barnlsey but in the Diocese of Hallam.
